Connecting Your Accounts
To see your personal information in Pithy - like emails, calendar events, or tasks - you’ll need to connect the relevant services.
How It Works
Most integrations use OAuth, the same secure method you use when clicking “Sign in with Google” on other websites:
- You sign in directly with the service (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
- Pithy never sees your password
- You can revoke access at any time
Connecting an Integration
Step 1: Open Preferences
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Preferences.
Step 2: Find the Integration
In the Integrations tab, you’ll see services grouped by type:
- Built-in - Always available (Weather, Web Content, News feeds)
- Connected Services - Require OAuth sign-in (Google, Microsoft, Bluesky)
- API Credentials - Require an API key (some services)
Step 3: Connect
Click the Connect button next to the service. A new window opens for you to sign in and authorise Pithy. Once complete, you’ll return to Pithy and see the connection status update.
