Quick solutions to problems you might encounter.
Connection Issues
“Pop-up blocked” when connecting an integration
Problem: Your browser blocked the OAuth sign-in window.
Solution:
- Look for a pop-up blocked icon in your browser’s address bar
- Click it and allow pop-ups from Pithy
- Try connecting again
Integration shows “Disconnected” or “Re-authentication required”
Problem: Your access token has expired or been revoked.
Solution:
- Go to Profile menu → Preferences → Integrations
- Click Disconnect on the affected integration
- Click Connect to re-authorise
Connection keeps failing
Problem: The OAuth flow isn’t completing.
Solution:
- Make sure you’re allowing all requested permissions
- Try a different browser
- Check that third-party cookies are enabled
- Clear your browser cache and try again
Panel Issues
Panel shows “Error loading content”
Problem: The panel couldn’t fetch data.
Solution:
- Click the refresh icon on the panel
- Check that the integration is still connected
- Verify your internet connection
- Wait a minute and try again (the service might be temporarily unavailable)
Panel is stuck on “Loading”
Problem: The panel is waiting for data that isn’t arriving.
Solution:
- Refresh the page
- Check your internet connection
- If the problem persists, the external service might be down
Panel shows old data
Problem: The panel hasn’t refreshed recently.
Solution:
- Click the refresh icon on the panel
- Ask the assistant to “refresh [panel name]”
Assistant Issues
Assistant isn’t responding
Problem: The chat seems stuck.
Solution:
- Wait a few seconds - some responses take time
- Refresh the page
- Check your internet connection
Assistant gives wrong information
Problem: The response doesn’t match your data.
Solution:
- Try asking more specifically
- Refresh the relevant panel first
- Check that the integration is connected and has the right permissions
Account Issues
Can’t log in
Problem: Login isn’t working.
Solution:
- Check you’re using the right email address
- Try resetting your password
- Clear your browser cookies for Pithy
- Try a different browser
